About Clean & Sober Music Fest

Experience clean and sober FUN at this first ever non-profit substance-free music festival in Northern California. The Clean & Sober Music Fest will be held at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday June 8 & 10 from noon until 7:00 pm.  Fantastic bands will get the crowds dancing under the autumn sky.  This community gathering offers picnicking and overnight camping as well.

Concert producer and promoter Jeffery Trotter has been sober for 20 years. He was artistic director of Shakespeare at Stinson for two decades and has long felt the need for a substance free environment for music festivals, “It was clear that the time had come for a festival created for people who want to go out and have fun without mind or mood altering substances.  We are putting on a wildly fun event where everyone can feel comfortable knowing they are withothers who are also clean and sober.”

About the Venue

Situated in the heart of the picturesque Anderson Valley, the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville is an ideal place for our outdoor music and camping festival. Located just two hours north of San Francisco, the Fairgrounds is easily accessible from the Bay Area, North Coast and Inland. The camping is in a lovely valley surrounded by hills dotted with oak trees! The very successful Sierra Nevada World Music Festival has been hosted annually at the Fairgrounds in since 2005.

Clean & Sober Music Fest is a special opportunity to celebrate life surrounded by a community of substance-free music fans.  All fellowships welcome! Newcomers who volunteer get in free.  Open twelve-step meetings will be held Friday evening also before and after shows on Saturday & Sunday.
